The digital revolution has transformed the way we live, but constant connectivity also makes moments of genuine presence increasingly difficult to find. Rather than focusing on technology itself, this project explores how people consciously create space for rest, attention, and balance in their everyday lives.
To begin the project, I invited people to share their personal ways of reconnecting with themselves by choosing to be OFFline. Their handwritten reflections became the starting point for a series of drawings that reinterpret these experiences through my own visual language. Instead of illustrating individual stories, the works reveal a collective portrait of how moments of calm can emerge within the noise of contemporary life.
The exhibition OFFline from time to time was presented for the first time at Lodz Design Festival 2024.
Exhibition patrons: Purpose Magazine, Dbam o Mój Z@sięg Foundation, Panoptykon Foundation.
